Personal protective equipment (PPE) certification
In 2016, the European Union issued the new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) regulation REGULATION (EU) 2016/425, which will come into effect on April 21, 2018, replacing the old Directive 89/686/EEC. For personal protective products, a CE certificate from the PPE Directive must be obtained before they can be exported to the EU.
