GPSD Security Certification Service
On December 3, 2001, the European Union passed the General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) and required all member states to fully implement it from January 15, 2004. As a result, the original Directive 92/59/EEC was invalidated. GPSD has put forward basic requirements for product quality and safety, which apply to all consumer products except food, especially for product safety requirements that are not specifically regulated (including general directives and specific product directives). Therefore, GPSD is at the foundation and level of the EU product safety regulatory system; At the same time, GPSD is the foundation of a series of specialized regulations on product safety, which have been supplemented and improved in terms of product risk control, product safety responsibility, and other aspects.
